The castle is the residence of the Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg royal family and has been in the family for over 750 years. The castle, inhabited by the noble family, forms the center of the historic old town. The castle park with its enchanting orangery, large ponds and colorful flowerbeds invite you to take a leisurely stroll.
