Paintings such as Paul Cézanne's "Bathers" or Camille Pissarro's "Boulevard Montmartre" draw attention to the immediacy of the moment. They depict situations that the artist experienced individually and captured with paint and brush. Visitors to the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum can now get closer to these and other masterpieces when they visit the "Swiss Treasures" exhibition. For the show, the Wallraf is bringing the jewels of the Swiss Museum Langmatt to Germany. It is known for its important collection of French Impressionism in Europe.

Whether Renoir, Monet, Gauguin or Degas, they all have a place in the Cologne exhibition. Visitors can look forward to artistic dialog rooms in which exhibits from the Swiss museum interact with those from the Wallraf collection.
