FRAGILE Festival

Event location

Wuppertal, Pina Bausch Zentrum

Dates

The next date has not yet been announced.

FRAGILE brings art and sustainability together in the new Pina Bausch Center in Wuppertal. The event sees itself as a lively space for encounters and movement, dance and performance. Exciting productions reflect the beauty of nature. They show the diversity of the world in steps, turns and forms.

The formats shown are very diverse: from Krump, a freestyle dance style originating from Los Angeles that is both fast and expressive, to various forms of urban dance and multimedia choreographies.

The pieces are intended to be understood as sensual events that can be experienced by the audience together with the artists. A wide variety of perspectives, cultures, realities and ecological situations come together on stage. In some cases, viewers are even actively encouraged to get involved and participate in the action.

The complete program and all events of the upcoming edition can be found on the website of the Pina Bausch Centre about a month before the festival begins.
