Every year in the fall between the end of August and the beginning of October, the Beethoven city of Bonn celebrates the Beethovenfest. It welcomes top international orchestras, important ensembles, prominent soloists and promising young artists. The 2015 Beethovenfest Bonn is the first festival season under the artistic direction of Nike Wagner and has the motto "Change". Whether a classical concert with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Zubin Mehta, the dance evening "Spirit" with the two master choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Saburo Teshigawara, a live performance with the vocal artist Jaap Blonk or the theatrical congress "SAVE THE WORLD" - the Beethovenfest offers a diverse program.
