Zwillbrocker Venn nature reserve

Garrel

The nature reserve with its special flora and fauna can be explored and discovered without disturbance along a six-kilometre circular hiking trail with two viewing platforms and a viewing tower.

Visitors can refresh themselves and relax at the Info-Remise right next to the viewing tower in the north. A wide range of products for young and old nature explorers and nature lovers, tourists and creative gift ideas for loved ones are available here.

There are benches and shelters along the way where you can take a break. Numerous signs provide important and useful information.

You can get to know the Zwillbrocker Venn on a guided hike or explore it yourself at any time of day or year. Using an ornitho.de QC code and a smartphone/tablet, current observations can be called up in the observation hides in the Zwillbrocker Venn.

Whether you are on a bike tour, a hike or just a short walk, the Biological Station is an ideal starting point for a tour!

A 3-bike tandem offers the opportunity to explore the surrounding area as a couple. It's simply fun!
