Bad Wünnenberg forest swimming pool

Bad Wünnenberg

Following the renovation of the outdoor pool in 2016, the Waldschwimmbad has always received positive feedback. Located on the edge of the forest, there is a very peaceful atmosphere here while you swim your laps in the pool. But non-swimmers can also let off steam. Following the renovation, the enlarged non-swimmers' area outside was equipped with a swinging bay, neck showers and a bubbler. The pool is also accessible for people with restricted mobility via a mobile ramp. For the brave ones who like a little adrenaline kick, there is a diving pit with a one-meter and three-meter board. But even the youngest children have their own pool with two different water depths, a water play area and a sandpit, which makes for lots of fun while splashing around. There are also many special offers in the indoor pool of the Waldschwimmbad. These include the Rheuma League with its regular therapy sessions, "aqua jogging", intensive water familiarization for toddlers aged 3 months to 2.5 years as well as swimming courses and senior water gymnastics with its exercise programme. The water temperature is at least 29°C and 32°C on warm bathing days on Mondays and Fridays. At the end of an exhausting but fun-filled day in the forest swimming pool, you can enjoy a snack at the on-site snack bar.
