• In the Cromford Museum Café, you can soak up the historical atmosphere of the LVR Industrial Museum and enjoy a good view of the magnificent park surrounding the factory site. You will find the cosy Café Perfetto on the market square.
• In good weather, you cycle along lakes, historic mills and moated castles through the neighbouring Angertal valley to the medieval town of Kaiserswerth on the Rhine.
• Alternatively, if you want to find out more about the industrial history of Ratingen, the industrial trail is just the thing for you - on foot or by bike. You can even follow in the footsteps of our ancestors on the neanderlandsteig trail past the Neanderthal Museum, for example. The hiking route covers the whole of neanderland in the district of Mettmann.
• Excursion tip: When the weather is nice, you can end the day in the "Liebevoll" beer garden in the Auermühle.
