Plaza del Mar

Xanten

The port of Xanten is the gateway to Xanten's leisure paradise, the Xanten North and South Seas. A wide range of leisure activities in, on and around the water await day-trippers on the two interconnected inland waterways.

From the spacious harbor promenade, walkers have the silhouette of the city of Xanten with its cathedral, archaeological park and many other characteristic buildings in view and from the harbor terrace of the Plaza del Mar, guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the marina and the Xantener Südsee. The Plaza del Mar's food and drinks menu is supplemented by regular promotions and specials. All areas of the restaurant are at ground level and accessible without steps, allowing for a barrier-free stay.

Important information about accessibility: certificates

  • "Reisen für Alle" (“Travel for All”) is a nationwide, uniform labeling system for barrier-free travel. It offers reliable information on the accessibility of tourist offerings, such as hotels, attractions and means of transport. Providers who allow themselves to be labeled are checked for accessibility by specially trained surveyors. The results are published in detailed test reports so that travelers with disabilities know exactly which offers are suitable for their needs.
