• There are three marked parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: at least 530 cm x 500 cm).
• The path from the car park to the entrance is 270 m long. It is to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 5 % over a distance of 1 m.
• The building is steplessly accessible via a treshold of 2,5 cm.
• All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are steplessly accessible at ground level.
• All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 82 cm wide.
• The exhibits and the information on the exhibits are predominately visible and readable when seated.
• Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered on request.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the toilet  130 cm x 124 cm; in front of the washbasin 124 cm x 137 cm;
  left of the toilet 88 cm x 57 cm and right of the toilet 57 cm x 57 cm.
• There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up.
• The sink is wheelchair compatible.
• The mirror is not visible while sitting.
• An alarm trigger is available.
